Anantara Doha Island Resort

Project Name: Anantara Doha Island Resort

Location: Doha, Qatar.

Main Contractor: UrbaCon Trading & Contracting UCC.

Anantara Doha Island Resort is an uninhabited offshore island situated approximately 3 -1/2 Kilometers from new Doha International Airport (closest main land point) and 11 Kilometers east of Doha City. The proposed project is to construct, develop and operate a 5 star island resort property.

We worked as a subcontractor in the Anantara Doha Island Resort project (plaster work, Block work, and Ceramic work).

Msheireb Downtown Doha

Project Name: Msheireb Downtown Doha

Location: Doha, Qatar.

Main Contractor: Arabtec Construction

Msheireb Properties flagship project, Msheireb, will regenerate and preserve the historical downtown of Doha. The mixed-use development will comprise more than 100 buildings, with a combination of commercial and residential properties, retail, cultural and entertainment areas.

The first phase, referred to as the ‘Diwan Amiri Quarter’, currently under construction, features three major government buildings, heritage sites, a museum, cultural forum, National Archive and Eid Prayer Ground.

On completion, Msheireb will be an iconic landmark in Doha – a globally recognizable community where people live, work and thrive.

We worked as a manpower support, 200 workers (Carpenters, General & Tile Masons, steel fixer, General Labors).

Barwa Al Khor Housing

Project Name: Barwa Al Khor Housing

Location: Al Khor, Qatar.

Barwa Al Khor Shell Housing is a residential development project over a plot of 138,000m2 designed for Shell’s employees in Qatar. It is also part of a future master plan in the Al Khor region.

The residential component of the Shell Housing project currently extends over an area of 25,599m2 comprising 50 villas, 300 three bedroom units distributed across 15 five level apartment buildings and 87,557m2 of gross floor area.

Island Project Marine Works

Project Name: Island Project Marine Works

Location: The project site is located approximately 20km North of Doha on the East coast of Qatar, Between Simaisma and Lusail.

The development involves reshaping of the island using rock protection for the island to accommodate a private residence and channels access/berthing facilities.

A bridge also is under construction to provide access to the island from the mainland.

Souq Waqif Hotel

Project Name: Souq Waqif Hotel

Location: Souq Waqif ,Doha ,Qatar.

The building originally was a complex of old traditional building consists of retail shops and restaurants built of 600 mm stone wall.

Reinforced concrete structure and block work infill were introduced internally in some places it is to be re-modified into hotel complex reflecting more of Arab Architecture.
